Hội An Ancient Town is well-known as a crowded trading port in the 17th century. There were a lot of traders from Western countries, Japan, China,..came to Hội An for goods exchange. Meanwhile, the cultural exchange was also made which later become the typical culture of Hội An. Following the tradition, Hoi An city pays much more attention to cultural exchange. The New Year Festival which is organized annually is a great chance for tourists and the locals to get closer.

The festival will take place at Hoi An Ancient Town from 4pm (Dec 31, 2014) to 1am (Jan 1, 2015) with various interesting activities, such as: performances of international bands, fashion show, flashmob performance, street dance and even lotto game.
